How to handle a fish for Safe Catch & Release

  1. Use barbless hooks or pinch the barbs.

  2. Use a rubber or rubber-coated net.

  3. Wet your hands before handling the fish.

  4. Don't touch the mouth or gill area.

  5. Gently release the fish back into the water.
